A Baby Divided

Many of you know my husband is an Aggie and I am a Longhorn... well so do the nurses, and sweet nurse Lilly made him a hat to reflect the family conflict.

Braden is doing well. Funny how poops become milestones you celebrate. I am loving being a mother and overwhelmed by how amazing Braden is and how much he changes each day. Crazy to think he was supposed to be cooking another 9 weeks!! Still a tiny guy at 2 pounds 14 ounces... but hopefully growing more each day.

  1. The cap is such a precious gift for Mr. Braden. Acts like this tell me that the entire medical community are an exceptional group of people. We are blessed to have them working with our beautiful little fighter, Braden. Maybe he'll go to USC, who knows... You are awesome to be able to keep your sense of humor throughout all of this uncertainty and stress. Luv to you all, Gammy

  2. That cute boy can even get away with combining burnt orange and maroon . . . which not many people can. I agree with Gammy with he is surrounded by exceptional people, most of all, his amazing mom, dad and grandparents. But, I think we have to put our foot down. . . no USC, OU, or Ohio State. I think everything else is fair game, right? Hope you guys are all enjoying the holidays!

  3. Yay Braden! So glad he is eating and I will pray that the spit-up decreases. Ol' Charlie and Weston still do enough of that to drive me bananas! We'll be thinking about the 3 of you every day!
